Shaheen Services (PVT) Limited was founded in 1948 by Moulana Abdul Qader Jilani (Khadem-sarkar-e-Madena). In the beginning, our company was primarily a manufacturer of pesticides. It did not take long, however, for us to evolve into a service company. We were among the first organizations to recognize the application of pesticides as a valuable public service: the industry of pest management was born. It was during the depression years of the 1940’s that the company also recognized the importance of effective and affordable pest management as an instrument of food protection and public health safety.
Engr. Asif Javed Bashir, joined the firm in 1990. During his tenure, the company began a long period of expansion. The 1990’s and 2010’s saw the company make significant growth gains and expansion. We were becoming a strong force in the facilitation management industry.
The third generation began to have impact in 2011 when Mohammad Raheel Asif, the current CEO, joined the firm. Then started the years of diversification and international expansion.

Shaheen specialized in servicing this growing industry, earning a reputation as Pakistan’s most reliable and professional company. It is a tribute to Shaheen’s strength in this area that many of the industry’s leading multinational, national and governmentsectors continue to rely on Shaheen today. Under the guidance of the founder’s , Moulana Abdul Qader Jilani, the company continued to grow and diversify over the next three decades to become the largest Pakistan owned facilitation services company specializing in the industrial, commercial and residential markets.
In 1990, I was given the responsibility and privilege to continue the tradition and to ensure the company succeeds and grows. Through diversifying our operations and selective acquisition, Shaheen continues to provide a leadership role in the service industry. One of the greatest strengths at Shaheen, aside from our wealth of experience and service value, is knowing how we got here, realizing why we enjoy success. It has long been the philosophy of Shaheen that services goes far beyond mere application and use of techniques. To this end, we continually offer education and training to those concerned with non-chemical, technical, mechanical, civil, repair & maintenance measures which will reduce the need for chemical usage. As pest control and elimination are critical to the integrity of a safe working environment and integral to Shaheen fulfilling our clients’ satisfaction, some pesticide usage may be deemed necessary as a practical avenue for control.
When selecting control measures, we at Shaheen take a holistic approach and only include pesticides and methods which will require minimal usage of chemicals, which have been carefully scrutinized by regulatory agencies both for their effectiveness and environmental impact. Through our support of research and development, we continue to keep abreast of the latest technologies of control measures and alternative products to satisfy our clients’ needs.

It is the policy of Shaheen Services to provide a safe working environment for all workers. This policy will be achieved through the effective implementation, maintenance and upgrading of our Health & Safety Program.
Our Health & Safety policies and programs have been formulated based on the following beliefs and philosophies:
• Health & Safety is of paramount importance in the conduct of our business. All Occupational Health & Safety Laws, Acts and statutes are considered the minimal requirement for safety.
• Every worker has the responsibility to work in compliance with company safety programs, policies, procedures, and all applicable legislation. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.
• Branch Management is responsible and will be accountable for providing a safe work environment and ensuring all reasonable precautions (training, equipment, procedures and polices) have been taken to ensure Health & Safety of all workers.
• Safety is cost effective! A safe site is an efficient and well-managed site.

ACCESSIBILITY STANDARDS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
Shaheen Services is committed to excellence in serving all customers including people with disabilities.
We will ensure that our staff are trained and familiar with various assistive devices that may be used by customers with disabilities while accessing our goods or services.
We will communicate with people with disabilities in ways that take into account their disability.
We welcome people with disabilities and their service animals. Service animals are allowed on the parts of our premises that are open to the public.
A person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person will be allowed to have that person accompany them on our premises.
Fees will not be charged for support persons.
TRAINING FOR STAFF:
ShaheenServices will provide training to employees, volunteers and others who deal with the public or other their parties on their behalf.
Individuals in the following positions that require training: All Managers, Office Administrators, Route Managers, National Account Administrators and Human Resources. This training is provided to staff during orientation onboarding.
Training will include:
• An overview of the Accessibility and the requirements for the customer service standard.
• Shaheen’s plan related to the customer service standard.
• How to interact and communicate with people with various types of disabilities.
• How to interact with people with disabilities who use an assistive device or require the assistance of a service animal or support person.
